This morning I discovered another visitor to my garden, one I'd never seen before. It was a big, ugly, flat, brown toad. It was so big, ugly, flat and brown that at first I thought he was a stone.
He lives under the shed next door and I only found him because he was poking his nose under the gap in the fence. I went over to touch him with my paw to say hello (or to find out if he was edible - being about the right size for a hearty meal) and he crawled back under the shed.
Not sure if I like Brown Toad and I definitely won't be eating him.
