Humans are Disgusting

I discovered something really unpleasant about humans today which certainly explains a lot.

As you know, cats bathe constantly and are always checking to make sure they are clean (especially between their toes, their tummies and their "you know wheres").

Humans on the other hand only bathe, on average, once a day. Yuck! No wonder they smell different and have to put on hissy deodorant.

I'd move out if it wasn't for the food and the nice warm laps to sleep on. FAZ

Well, no offense to other nationalities, but be glad you are not a kitty living in France. I hear they might not bathe as much as once a day.

My humans usually bathe twice a day (once in the morning, and once after they go for their run) but it's still not a whole lot!

Sadly, even though I'm constantly grooming myself, they still give me a water bath once a week.

Yes, it is a very amazing thing about humans that they only bathe one time a day. If they would just clean a little bit all throughout the day, they probably would not need to stand under a whole torrent of water just to get clean.

Dear Meezers, that's scary.
Dear Dragonheart, do you like having a bath or do you fight it all the way?
Dear 40's, I would quite like the humans to not use deodorant - I hate the hissy noise it makes.
Dear Daisy, no wonder you are a professor - this is very smart thinking.

Hi Faz!

I didn't know you lived in England too!

Thanks for dropping by my blog -- and commenting on the wallpaper hypocrisy. It's true... humans get upset at us for doing things that they themselves will do. I notice this too.

I would like nothing more than to spend the whole day in the shower.

I hear you Faz...sometimes I try to wash my Mommy's hair in the morning when she's still asleep but she doesn't seem to enjoy that very much...I know I could give her a great new look...

I know Faz! But just be thankful your humans aren't French, they don't even wash once a day, haha!

I love my human's bath time! She lounges in the tub a long time, and I like to get in and curl up on her chest. I don't think she likes it, but she indulges me. She says I'm weird.

Oh, she says to tell your mom thank you for the bookmark order. We mailed them today.

P.S. Faz, you resemble my catministrative assistant, Callie. But you're nicer than she is! She's an old grump.

Mittens, Mistrie and I bathe many times a day. HOwever, Precious isn't as good about it. She cleans her nether region well, and behind her ears and her toes, but the rest of her, Momma has to groom.

This is an good discusion about bathe and deodorant. I can´t bathe for the next hours, because the humans did some medicine on my skin. It tastes not really good but they told me it is against fleas.
Oh I wish I can bathe....

Faz, The grooming habits of humans is a fascinating subject. I have been studying them for years now (working and a research project), and I still haven't figured them out.

I have added you to the Pablo fan club member list. Welcome! Don't forget to say your pledge in front of a witness.

we don't like hissy deodorant either. If they bathed all day like us, they wouldn't need it.

Maybe your humans want you to help them bathe Faz.

My humans use the stick deodorant, so it doesn't make the hissy noise. But it can really smell...

I know what you mean... in my 5 years of living with Nick and Kate, I have never seen them lick themselves. Once. Ew.

Well, my humans use this liquid crystal deodorant spray and it doesn't really smell like anything that I can tell. I don't think they stink. (Maybe I'm just used to their smells, though.)

I know some guys who would like to lick themselves... oh that was too much information, wasn't it? :)

I'm a wild cat so I don't understand you domestic kitties but your article is about how humans are disgusting and smelly, yet you end it in "Nice warm laps to SLEEP ON".

So they're disgusting, dirty and smelly yet you sleep on them? The fact that they're warm is even worse, usually warmth means things are off anyway.. It probably means they're even dirtier than normal if they are warm.
