Dear All

I ate some dinner last night and didn't throw up so I am pretty sure I am better. Thank you so much for your warm wishes they were greatly appreciated.

I wanted to tell you about my current concern; which is bumble bees. We have had terrible news here in England that there is a significant decline in numbers and several species have already died out. Nobody knows why yet.

We have been asked to create little homes for the Queen Bees in our gardens by upturning plant pots near flowering plants so they can make a hive.

The good news is we spotted a Queen in the garden today (the picture isn't very good I'm afraid) so we have made a hive for her as instructed and are keeping fingers and paws crossed that she finds it and moves in.

Will let you know if it works as I am under strict instructions not to eat her. Purr FAZ

We're glad you didn't throw up anymore.

We heard on the news last night that a German study believes that cell phone microwaves might be causing honey bees to become confused and not return to their hives, so only the young bees are left to tend to the queen and they aren't experienced enough to do so. Hence, the hives die out.

Ok, we know, honey bees and bumble bees are different, but we thought that was interesting. Anyway, good luck with your bumble bee house!!!

Faz, we don't think you should eat the bee. It might sting you and that hurts a lot. We hope you are feeling lots better today.

Oh Dear Faz, I'm sorry you are not feeling so good. I'm glad you are not throwing up any more. I hope you feel great this weekend.

We are having trouble with Honey bees here in the US. They have really declined as well, to the point the fruit tree industry is worried.

I'm glad to hear you didn't throw up your dinner! Being sick is no fun.

Poor bees. :( I've heard some researchers are blaming cell phones and the cell phone signal relay towers for the decline in bees.

Just make sure you don't get stung by the bees in your garden!

I'm happy that you were able to keep down your food. Just take it easy and get plenty of rest. Yes, I have to agree with everyone else, don't eat the poor bee. Plus, as everyone has said, it might sting you. OUCH!

Faz, I am very happy and relieved that you are feeling better today. My professional opinion is this: Bomiting is No Fun.

How sad about the bees. You are very nice to help them out like that. Just do not get stung, because that would hurt.

First of all, I'm sorry that you were under the weather and I'm glad you're feeling yourself again.

Thanks for the bee info. LIke 40 PAWS, I heard that our mobile phones might be the problem. Or... BEE the problem.

We heard that news about bees here, too. But is it safe to have a beehive right in your yard?

Glad you are feeling better. I know that digestive issues are no fun.

We have problems in the US with fewer honey bees. So less bees to pollinate things. Not sure why it is happening. Mum's uncle used to have lots of hives of bees when he was alive.

I'm so glad you are feeling better, Faz! Take care, and don't eat the bee. I think a bee would give you a tummyache.

Kittyhugs and purrs from MaoMao!

I think that if you eat that queen bee, you will throw up again. Throwing up is no big deal for me. I do it rather regularly, but i don't recommend it for everyone... You have to take pills to make you stop. I'm glad your feeling better.

I am very glad that you kept your dinner down, Faz. I hope that you are all well now. You are doing a very nice thing for the bumble bees. Bees are in decline all over the world and it is very worrying.

I'm scared of bees, really scared of them. Still, that's pretty sad about them decreasing like that.
