How I achieve balance

The lovely WILLOW tagged me on BALANCE in my life. Here are my answers:

How do you achieve balance in your life?

Cats don't normally need to achieve balance, we are naturally balanced individuals both mentally and physically. I have noticed, however, that if Hefty Tabby chases me through the cat flap (and won't let me back out) then I do feel a bit discombobulated!

What is your biggest challenge in balancing your life?

Avoiding Hefty Tabby

What are your priorities?
1. Catching all the luscious little mice that live in the overgrown garden next door and eating them (BURP - oops - excuse me)
2. Keeping braer fox out of my garden and away from the house
3. Making sure the cheeky squirrels know their place and don't get too rambunctious

How have your priorities changed over time and why?

My priorities haven't really changed although sometimes I'd rather just have a nap.

What advice can you share to help all of us balance our own lives?

Get plenty of sleep, eat well and make sure your humans are well trained.

Faz, I can tell that you are a very balanced cat. Hefty Tabby sounds like a bad cat though. You have some very important priorities, too!

Great advice Faz! :) You are lucky you can supplement your diet with mice. My mom never taught me to hunt, since she was a Sphynx like me and we have to be indoor-only cats.

7 lbs is 3.175 kg. It's funny - Canada is metric in just about everything, but people still use pounds to weigh themselves and their pets! Yet they use grams and kilograms in the grocery store. Humans can be so silly!

Faz, that is a terrific list that you have written. I am fascinated by the idea of you catching LLM in your garden. I have always been an indoor cat and have only seen a LLM when China Cat caught one in our porch. She used to be an outdoor cat so she has very good hunting skills. She has caught more but I've only seen the one!

I think napping in this house is on the first place ! Arthur brought one mouse a few days ago and ate it in front of me !(bbrrrk) It never happened before, I have never seen him with a mouse, I thought he took them for a toy ! How innocent I have been !

We hope you had a delightful Easter week-end!

Faz, you are looking very good and balanced!!

Mommie says you can use her quotes any time... she likes to share them and she did not say then, so they are not really hers :-D

You look balanced Faz. I think your people need to do something about Hefty Tabby, who sounds very unpleasant.

p.s. You're looking nice and slim and lithe. I think you don't need any more dieting!

Those are great answers. Well thought out and short and to the point. You are a well balanced cat. I like to hunt for moles.

I'm Oscar. Hi!

That is a good list, Faz. Especially that you included getting enough sleep. That is very important for keeping balance in life.

Hi Faz, sorry I haven't been around in a while. I had fun catching up on your site. I think it is cool you now know your birthday, and that basket is a very neat PTU. And your balance meme is right on (although I've never chased mice or fox, very impressive). Naps are very high on the priority list.
