Scary

Remember when I went to the V.E.T. the other day, I mentioned I'd seen these big clippy, cloppy, animals that were bigger than 'vishus deer' with humans sitting on top. Well there was one outside my house yesterday. Right outside. As bold as brass. As you can imagine I stayed inside and didn't wander out.

Also, they smell like rotting hay and snort a lot and blow air out through their noses - good grief - maybe it's a FIRE BREATHING DRAGON? They snort a lot and blow air out threw their noses don't they?

YIKES!

WOW! That is a very big animal. I wonder how his feet make those loud noises. Don't get too close to him. I do not think he is Safe.

Faz, those are called horses. They are harmless, unless you get under their feet. My mom rides a horse once a week - she takes something called "dressage lessons" which involves being on the horse's back. So don't worry, just stay away from the horse's feet and you'll be okay. :)

Oh, Faz, horses are nice. They may be stinky and big and make weird noises, but they are really, reall gentle animals.

Wow, that came by your house! That would make me a little nervous too!

I've seen these things on television and I'm pretty sure they're called horsies. If you stay away from them, they won't hurt you.

I think fire breathing dragons look like dinosaurs with wings so if you see one of them, you should stay inside!

I think if I saw a "horse" I would stay inside as well. I think you are right that the snorting and blowing air out their noses is a dangerous sign.

YIKES for sure! I hide away when other humans are over... I think it is brave of you to at least get a look at that thing! I am glad to hear that they are nice, gentle animals, but I would still be very afraid if I saw one with my own eyes!

Hope you are still feeling well.

They are nice, they really seem to like us cats. But like the others said, stay away from their feetsies!

Oh my, I've never seen one of those things but my mom says she has too and once she rode one when she was little. She said it was a kind of little horse called a pony.

But Faz, did you notice that the lady person sitting on the animals back is wearing a helmet? Helmets are what people wear when they do dangerous things like skiing, riding a motor bike and other dangerous stuff. So, I think it was a good idea to stay inside and safe.

You have horsies in town? Wow. But mum says when she was in London the last time, she could see Hyde Park from her hotel window and people riding. Even a small stable just a block or so away from the hotel.

Our woman rode one once and she couldn't walk the next day.

I see horses from time to time but I've never seen on with a bean on it's back. Mom explained to me that it was common. Whatever. Yes, they do stink but my little girlbean loves them so they must be OK.

I love the pictures you take Faz, you live in a beautiful area. That creature you snagged a photo of, I'm willing to bet it's a rhinoceros. Please, be careful, don't get too close to it, those creatures have quick tempers and sharp horns...
