In the dog house Part II

I am in trouble again. It's been raining a lot here lately (which is a good thing cause last year we had a drought). Anyway, last night I did a bit of late night mouse hunting as it's much easier to catch the little rascals when they're wet.

When the humans woke up this morning; not only was there blood on the duvet cover and a dead little mouse to contend with BUT there was a stream of muddy footprints going back and forth where I played a bit with the mouse whilst the humans were asleep.

WHOOPS!

p.s. do you get Duvets in the US (I think they're called Doonas in Australia)?

EEEEKKKK! You killed a mouse! Oooh, Faz, good job! But don't bring it to bed with you next time.

duvet, comforter, dyna. all mean the same thing...depending on where you live!

uncle jerry is a dryer cleaner and says that it's almost always safe to wash a feather comforter (be sure to dry it for long enough, or the feathers can mold). here's hoping that'll take care of the mousie entrails.

We do have duvets but we call them comforters I think. I would freak out if I woke up to find blood on mine!

We certainly have duvets and I've peed on ours a few times when I was a kitten.

Latte

I don't see what's wrong, you brought the breakfast in bed!

well first of all i KNOW you would never do such a thing. that mouse must have hopped up there and done that to himself! and then you got blamed? oh no!!! drat! bad mouse! like i always say, you just can't trust a danged mouse honey! they are not good like kitties, see? stay away from them, they are bad! i had one once that made a mess in my kitchen and i put out sticky mouse paper to grab him and the next morning there was blood and one leg on the paper, now that was evil, see? mice are bad. kitties are good. there, you see? plus mice DO NOT use litter boxes either! bad.

Wow, I am impressed that you know how to kill a mouse. Now, you just need to learn how to hide the evidence.

Hope you can get out of the doghouse soon!
Duvets are here, if that is a cover for a type of spread/quilt. Our Meowmie just has a spread because we make it fuzzy and she can wash it quick :)

FAZ, you've had a rough couple of days. We would have been in trouble for that stuff, too. Especially the mouse business. Maybe if you purr and rub on them or show your tummy, they'll forget they're mad. That usually works at our house.

We have a duvet too. China Cat catches mice and sometimes brings them to the bed but she doesn't make them bleed. But then my dad has to throw them outside. Sorry that you're still in the dog house.

If you are lucky the duvet will have a cover than can be removed for cleaning.

Yeah, they are doonas over here. Nick and Kate's is filled with wool! Very soft and warm. I've never dared to put a dead/dying mouse on it though... nice work.
