Sulking

I'm in trouble yet again. They found me with a little bird this morning, took it off me and it flew away. Now I AM sulking. FAZ

Tell them you were...erm...'helping' the birdie? Or try purring a lot, always works with MomBean.

Faz, you caught a bird? WOW! You should be praised for your amazing hunting skills instead of getting in trouble. I think you are very right to sulk.

maybe you should lay off the birds.

Oh Faz, how impressive that you caught a bird!

Oh, I'm sorry the humans took away your birdie, Faz. Humans can be funny that way, can't they?

Purrs and snuggles from Marilyn.

Humans! They are so hard to understand. When I was an orphan and living outside after I found the person I knew I wanted (I call her mom now) I brought her a little bird and she picked me up and yelled at me "spit that out" and then she went to make sure the little bird was o.k. never mind MY feelings. But then the humans do a lot of nice things for us and most of them are somewhat trainable.

That's just not fair! You're a mighty cat! Mighty cats are suppose to hunt! I only get in trouble if I bring the birds into the house, especially if they're alive. Then Mommy has to catch them and release them. You can come visit me and we'll go birding together :)

Faz, you should get revenge. I suggest a three-pronged plan of retaliation:

A) raid the fridge

B) poop on the nice furniture

C) be lazy and never ever chase another mouse again

Voila! Revenge complete.

Well done with the bird, but they prefer you to bring them rats and mice - fully despatched of course. Just don't leave the offending rodent on the doorstep, or in their shoes...

I don't understand why they should be upset, it isn't like you ate it or anything!

Oh Faz, I'm sorry you are in trouble again. You are clearly a very good hunter, and it is sad your humans don't appreciate that.

Oh no Faz...
Just stay away from birds...they are cute and lovely and even though you might thing "yummy"...you should just let them sing for you;)

I'm in trouble too. For fighting. On Saturday night. I'm sulking too. Not because I'm in trouble, but because I'm feeling sore and sorry for myself. Wish I'd caught a bird instead...

What is the matter with your humans? Did they think you were going to hurt that bird?? You were trying to be friends, right? (Birds are friends, not food...) After you got to know each other better, you were going to invite him inside for supper!
