The desert is hot

Fred and Ginger here, reporting from the Arizona Desert. As you can see there are loads of Rocks in the desert (which are good for lizards to hide behind). Daisy would like it here a lot.

This is us in a Native American tipi. We think we would like this lifestyle as we are very adventurous and don't need much in the way of creature comforts (you may need to biggify this picture to see us).

We saw this big bird in the distance, and Fred wanted to try and catch it for supper. When we got closer we realised it wasn't a bird at all. It was a Native American dancer.

We decide to pose for a photo on this cactus. OUCH! Big mistake.

But, the best bit by far, was the view over the Grand Canyon and the Colorado River. Isn't this a beautiful sight?

(well, apart from showing our bottoms).
We don't want to go home, except we really miss Faz.

Fred and Ginger, I am LOVING seeing your sightseeing trip. My favorite is the one of you on the cactus. Hope it was not too hurty.

That does look like prime lizard-hunting territory!

What wonderful adventures you are having! Too bad Faz can't be there too!

Wow. That looks incredible. Those warm rocks look like they'd be great to nap on. And the warm gritty sand would make a perfect sandbath!

Maw lufs the Grand Canyon too. She says it is very pretty and very big. Her & Paw have hiked down to Phantom Ranch even.

Pee Sss. Yes, that is all hair in the vacuum. From 2 rooms. We have lots of fur here at the Forty Paws to vacuum up every week. Usually twice a week. Sometimes 3 times a week. Arrrghhh.
