It's scary here in space

This is a what I saw out of the window of my space shuttle last night. It's a meteor shower called the Perseids. It was very pretty but I was worried it was going to damage the shuttle. Fortunately everything was alright with only minor damage done. I may need to do a space walk in the morning to double check.

In the meantime, I have been checking out my lunar module cat basket. It has been designed especially for me to land on the moon in order to check out the Luscious Little Space Mice I hope to find there. As you can see, it is a magnificent feat of engineering.

It is a feat of engineering! The told module legs are very attractive, too. That is a good photo of the meteors that you took. We had clouds, so no meteors here!

Cool!!! The Perseids were visible here too, but Maw & Paw would have to drive a gazillion miles away from the lights of Dallas to see them.

That's a totally cool Lunar Module specially designed for you! Good luck with the space mice!
