The Seaside

Hello, my friends, I've been to the seaside for two days.
We went to a special pet friendly hotel where I had my
own 'en suite'
litter tray.

I wasn't allowed outside but I could sit inside
and watch the seagulls which was rather good fun.

This is a view of Walton on the Naze (near where we stayed).

British seaside towns are famous for their Piers and
on the Naze is no exception. Many of them are
falling down but some are in full use and many

are listed buildings.

There's lots of fish and chip shops at the seaside and most
of them have their
own resident cat,
so no leftovers for me, sadly.

This is a special kind of fish restaurant; it specialises in
jellied eels, which are a delicacy around these parts.

The humans aren't great fans but I love them.

I was considering a tattoo but you wouldn't be able to see it
under all my fur.

And these are local beach huts.
Families have owned these for many
Inside you usually find a little kitchen area, a day bed,

a table and chairs and somewhere to change.
They cost quite a bit to buy, especially the ones in prime
locations and are usually painted fancy colours.

I think I would make a good seaside cat.

That is a cute little seaside town. When mom was very little she lived in England for a year with her mom and dad near Bentwaters AFB. She still remembers a lot about it. She was smiling and says it brings back a lot of memories.

I have never been on a trip before! That sounds very exciting. I do not like car rides though. They irk me.

You got to go on a holiday? Awesome! Kate said that the long pier and the beach huts remind her of beaches near Melbourne. Oh, to be a fishmonger's cat (actually, I'd prefer to be a chickenmonger's cat).

Oh, it looks like you had a great vacation!

Wow, what a lovely way to spend the weekend. Watching sea gulls. My beans want to go to the coast but they've decided they'd have to find a pet freindly hotel for me. I loved the tour of your lovely little seaside and the shops.
