My latest seaside adventure

We went apartment hunting this weekend in St Leonard's near Hastings. I got to stay in our room whilst the humans were out and about. This is a picture of one of the art deco apartment buildings shaped like a ship overlooking the pebble beach near where we want to live.

When the humans got home I'd disappeared. What they didn't know was that I'd found a little hole in the cupboard that led into the roof, so I decided to explore.

It was very exciting as there was a lots of interesting smells and spiders to eat.

They were panic stricken and trying desperately to find me, thinking that they had left a window or door open and I had escaped and got lost. Eventually, at supper time, I came out to see them and let them know I was safe.

I got double helpings of munchies, so I must remember to play hide and seek with them again some time.

Exploring on the roof does sound very adventurous. I hope you don't fall down from up there.

Oh Faz! I just caught up on reading your posts. Are you moving to the seaside? Or do you go there on holiday? I'm a little confused... Your town looks like a wonderful place to explore with lovely flowers to sniff and grass to nibble. I wish I could come to visit.

Excellent strategy, Faz! I employed a similar one on Saturday night. Nick and Kate gave me some leftovers from their roast beef dinner (yum!. Then said that due to my meaty treat, they were only going to give me a small snack when it was my actual dinner time (I eat at 10pm... it's part of their plan to get me not to wake up so early in the mornings). How did I circumvent this? Well, I stayed out way way WAY later than my dinner time, until nearly 1am. By then, Kate was standing at the front door calling and calling me. I never stay out that late. She was so pleased to see me when I sauntered through the cat flap that she forgot all about giving me a snack and gave me a full-sized dinner! Cats win again!

Oh Fazzie, do not escape like that again, please! You gave me a little scare. I would be sad if you got lost! So I hope you will stay safe.

Clever you finding a way to get out and enjoy the day. Why should the humans have all the fun!

oh my meowmie went to hastings a couple of weeks back for the day but she didn;t take me!

that building you show us, my meowmie says she could buy a flat for £80k in there and we could live by the sea and watch out for fishes all day every day. the old town is pretty too...if only the train journey to london was quicker...would be worth the commute for vet tokens!
