Today in Antarctica

The days and nights are merging together here in Antarctica so I have been playing quite a bit of scrabble with the cheeky squirrels who have been pulling my sledge. Back home in England I would have to say we are not the best of friends, as I do tend to find the squirrels think they own my garden and treat it like it's one big party zone. Sometimes they literally go nuts.

Nevertheless, we are getting on okay and playing loads of scrabble to help keep boredom at bay. This is my name score. What's yours?

Okay, I understand that you have no one else to play with but the squirrels...Still, they are toys, not friends. I'm not saying that you have to kill them, just scare the life out of them. That's all.

hey faz, hope you are ok in the antarctic, I hear it is pretty cold. Can you eat the cheesebergers? Cos they might be quite nice.

Scrabble is a good way to pass the time while you are in the long nights of Antarctica. I'll bet the squirrels are not very good players though. Do they know any words except: nut, eat, tree, acorn?

Hi Faz,

I guess if you must play with the nasty intruders errr..squirrels.
It's okay as long as you kick their squirrely butts at scrabble :)

What did we find in those 30 y.o. boxes? - household goods....weird... we know. It was books, linens, kitchen/dining items, personal correspondence, books. Even magazines. Part of an estate dad has to settle. The fees (paid by the owner) to store it came to more than the stuff was worth. We came across the most wonderful bath sheet with a Siamese cat on it. We are keeping it.

Household items - regular, ordinary things.....don't know why they would be stored for 30 years. Beans are strange.

Very cool Faz! With a "Zed" in your name, you are naturally going to have a very high score. I am very impressed that you have cheeky squirrels pulling your sled - I would be too tempted to chase them.

Squirrels cheat - be aware of that! Especially in Scrabble!

Cheeky skwirrels can be tiresome. We agree that you probably have the highest scrabble name score.

I'm just 8 if Mummy types in my pet name, but I get to be a whole 34 if she uses my proper registered name! :) This is well cool! :))
