It's sunny this morning ...

...but the weatherman says it's going to rain later, so I am getting in some quality sunbathing time whilst I can.

I also need to report that there has been another cat in my garden! It's not Hefty Tabby (whom I haven't seen in some time), it's another cat which I've called Mr Brown. He was after MY ROBIN yesterday and I am not best pleased. I am going to ponder on what I should do about this intrusion. If anyone has any advice please let me know. FAZ

I think that you should just tell the kitty that Mr. Robin is yours! That kitty should find their own birdie to stalk!

I say make the really scary wailing banshee pre-fight noises whenever Mr Brown goes anywhere near YOUR robin!!

I agree with Parker..surely there are other robins in the neighborhood and that Mr. Brown should find his own! I had an intruder in my backyard and he shang-hai'ed me, so I had to hire a bodyguard!

You look lovely out in your garden Faz! You should definitely let the new intruder know that the Robin is yours!

Faz, there are plenty of robins for everyone.

maybe the impending rain will keep him away ;/ Otherwise just tell him . Tell him to clear off as this is your yard too!!

Our cat Scoop was nicknamed Mr Brown and he was an excellent ratter, mouser, lizarder and birder. Scoop passed away last year but I wonder if your Mr Brown has a little of our old cat in him? If so, my advice is to make friends. Then you can both gang up on the robin and give him a good scare. (don't eat him though: there's nothing worse than a mouth full of feathers!) meow from malaysia!

Faz
You gotta watch every inch of your garden to protect it from intruders. We have Ping patrol our house to keep all the intruders far far away.

An intruder! I have no idea how to deal with that but I hope he doesn't get your Robin!

An intruder? I am shocked! You would think the other kitties would know better.

Uh oh, I am a little bit worried about Mr. Brown. I hope you can explain the ground rules to him.

Uh oh - not an intruder! You must banish the intruder as soon as you can. We pirates are available for help with the banishment if we are needed!

That is a very nice picture of you sunbathing outside :-)

I think you should watch for Mr. Brown from your windows. When you see him in your garden, you should scream as loud as you can and scratch the window to run him off. That's what Rascal does when she sees a strange kittie outside ;-)

I think you should talk to Mr. Brown and explain that this is your yard and your Robin and he had better respect your fence line. That should work.

So nice to be in the sun!

Put up a magical wailing sign that screams "Intruders WILL be mauled" whenever anycat or unwelcome visitors enters your domain.

Oh my, a new cat in your territory stalking your robin? Sounds like he needs to learn some manners!

That's a lovely picture of you, Faz!

Purrs and snuggles from Marilyn!

Well, it's quite simple: you'd better Mr Robin before the intruder cat does!

That is a wonderful sunbeam you got there, Faz. The clouds won't go away here. I think you should just be really firm with this intruder. Tell 'em: "hey, buster--get outta my yard!"
