The view from my window

Here we are in Scotland on holiday staying with friends. Unfortunately I am not allowed to leave the house for two reasons:

Reason 1: they have a dog and she is not very keen on cats (you can see her in the top picture watching the stone mason).
Reason 2: the stone masons are still putting the final touches on the new water feature in the front garden and it is not safe to start exploring.

This is the view from my bedroom window. There is a small water fall with steps either side, leading from a square pond at the top. The pond has stepping stones to walk across it and a sunken serenity garden on the right (just off picture). The water feature leads right up to the dining room of the house and will be planted with lilies and lit up at night.
I think it will look very nice when it is finished don't you? FAZ

You're kidding me, right ? That looks like a water feature appropriate for a millionaire - and then some ! Wow.... It'll look VERY pretty at night.
Now, if they'd just stock it with some goldfish and keep the dog locked up :)

That looks way cool! Your friends must be living in real Scottish castle. It's cool that you can do the castle cat for a while.

very elegant and quite lovely when finished. Will you be there long enough to see it finished? Ah, that is the question, isn't it?
