Day 1 - The Thing has arrived

Unfortunately, they won't let me beat him up - and believe me I have tried. Instead I am doing lots of hissing and yowling just to make sure he knows who is the boss around here.

It's good to show the new thing that you're the boss! Hopefully he will get the message soon so you can go about enjoying the little one!

Oh, the thing looks very cute. Does it have a proper name? We thinks you two will be good friends if you give it a chance. We bets it misses it's Mommy & siblings so it will be happy to make friends with you. ~S,S,C & F

Welcome, little one! Faz has a lot to teach you, so you must listen carefully.

(Now Faz, be a good big sister to him...)

That is so important that you put "The Thing" in it's place!

It is really kind of cute!

Has it got a name yet? Although I'm quite prepared to keep calling it "it" out of solidarity with you Faz.

Oh yes... make sure he knows who the big cheese is. You'll grow to like him. He'll be nice to cuddle with on cold, winter nights. Also, you can teach him to clean your ears which is very relaxing.

Have you thought that you're probably scaring that little baby half to death with your shenanigans, Faz. Come on...don't be a wussy pussy. Make that little kitty welcome.

He's pretty cute, and there's not a lot of him yet. Maybe you could go easy on him Faz...

Cool, Faz!

Lay out the ground rules so he knows what's what. You don't want him thinking he's the boss.

Oh, I exactly know what you mean - although it is the next door baby cat who really annoyes me in MY home...

As long as he knows who the boss is!

Wowsie, Faz, we missed quite an impawtant developement. Concats for getting a new "thing". Believe us, after a week you will get tired of growling and you'll try snuggling instead.
