The view from my window

Here we are in Scotland on holiday staying with friends. Unfortunately I am not allowed to leave the house for two reasons:

Reason 1: they have a dog and she is not very keen on cats (you can see her in the top picture watching the stone mason).
Reason 2: the stone masons are still putting the final touches on the new water feature in the front garden and it is not safe to start exploring.

This is the view from my bedroom window. There is a small water fall with steps either side, leading from a square pond at the top. The pond has stepping stones to walk across it and a sunken serenity garden on the right (just off picture). The water feature leads right up to the dining room of the house and will be planted with lilies and lit up at night.
I think it will look very nice when it is finished don't you? FAZ

My new skinny Gizzy

Look, this is my new skinny Gizzy, which was made especially to stop me scratching the top of this chest of drawers.

Wordless Wednesday - Cat on a (not so) Hot Tin Roof (and a bit of doggerel)

'Twas an evening in November,
As I very well remember,
I was strolling down the street in drunken pride,
But my knees were all a'flutter
So I landed in the gutter,
And a pig came up and lay down by my side.
Yes I lay there in the gutter
Thinking thoughts I could not utter,
When a colleen passing by did softly say,
'Ye can tell a man that boozes
By the company he chooses' -
At that, the pig got up and
Walked away.

Good Grooming for Tummy Tickling

It's very important (especially if you have white furs) to make sure your tummy is perfectly clean. This is to ensure that it's always ready for tummy tickles. Next week I will show you what positions you should take to ensure maximum tummy tickle attention from your humans.
