Still unwell

Faz is still very weak and not eating again, so vet tomorrow for the poor girl.  We have tried tempting her with all her favourite types of food but she just isn't interested.  Her beautiful fur is dusty and unwashed which is so sad to see.

Glad to hear from people who had the same foaming at the mouth problem with their medication as it has reassured us that it is not so serious.  Your support helps us so much.

This is heart-rending to read. I'm sorry she's not better. Now I can't remember what you said about the blood work, but I do think you said you have a good vet.

Does she need sub-q fluids? If she's not eating, she'll dehydrate pretty quickly unless you are syringing water or other liquid into her (like plain chicken broth, no onion/garlic or a bit of plain baby food mixed with a lot of water).

When Annie was sick, I was beside myself with worry/panic/fear. Chumley had died two months before and I had no resources left to cope, it wasn't a good time in my life. But as I've said, with Annie it was a month or so of Prednisone, which alleviated the symptoms and made her hungry, and during that time I switched back to her regular food, which did the trick. I have no idea what it could be in Faz's case, except IBD or an IBD-like reaction. :-(

Sending (((hugs))) and Light to you both. Good luck tomorrow.

Oh Fazzie, please feel all better soon!

Sometimes, if the medicine has a yucky or bitter taste, it can make that foamy stuff happen. It is scairty though!
